I went to a high school where we had to wear a uniform. I really liked it because there was a lot less stress. Everyone was wearing basically the same thing so there was less teasing about what you were wearing. Also on the days you got free dress it made the day seem special when it otherwise wouldnt have.

Hi I have worn a school uniform since the age of four. All schools here in Ireland both in private and state schools uniforms are compulsory. The argument for school uniforms are:
(1)Everyone is treated the same regardless of economic or social backgrounds.
(2)It gives self worth to both the students and the school
(3)It doesn’t put pressure on parents to have to buy the latest fashion for their children
(4)It’s a huge help for parents that their children wearing uniforms. This way children are not under the pressure to keep up with their peers in terms of latest fashion crazies etc.

School uniforms are great! Its a good thing because students and teachers will know if any intruders come into the school. Its also a good thing beacuse students wont tease others about the way they dress becuase everyone looks the sam so to sum the answer, its best to have uniforms that are plain and simple.

Hey Kimberly Nicole. I go to a school where we have to wear uniforms. There are some pros and cons about them.
Pros: everyone looks the same, so people won't judge you on how much money you have because you all have to buy the same clothes. This way, people don't have to show off their money in clothes because we are only allowed to wear khaki pants and a white polo.
cons: The only bad things about uniforms are, is that our teachers and principals take it way to far... at least I think. I hate to complain, but we aren't even allowed to wear clear nail polish at our school.
I personally think uniforms would be fine if we still got to show some individuality in them. But otherwise, I guess they aren't all that bad.

The plus for school uniforms is that everyone looks the same, so there is no status over who has the latest fashion. That distraction is removed

Well school uniforms are okay because i go to a catholic school and i think they're comfortable to wear and you dont have to choose what to wear everyday like (jean,t-shirts,shoes, and what to match with) And i like my uniforms and they dont look to preppy or to colorfula and too plaid they're just simple, nice, comfortable and can wear any shoes. But some ive seen their uniforms and i dont like some becuase they just dont go or look too preppy.

I have to wear a tie, a plaid skirt, a blazer, navy socks, black dress shoes, and a dress shirt everyday to school. At first, you hate it, but later, you feel that it's a little time-saving in the morning, lol. Our school has at least one free-dress day each month, so it's not that bad. And these days, schools are trying to make their unifomors prettier and unique.

My daughter goes to a school where they wear uniforms. It is great to see the kids not wearing all sorts of garbage, like pants torn, short shirts, t-shirts with sayings, etc. Everyone is the same, from the rich kid to the poor kid. No one is made to feel inferior because they did not have the latest style.

hi! I, as someone who were wearing uniforms for a lengthy time period, have self belief all colleges (all public colleges) might want to positioned on uniforms. i imagine college is about gaining understand-how of, insted of a thanks to seem. i think it both distracts, and takes efficient gaining understand-how of time remote from young ones. at the same time as a instructor has to inform a pupil to "bypass to the place of work and regulate" it takes away time from gaining understand-how of. also, it makes the faculty seem extra efficient. at the same time as scholars from a university are seen dressing inappopropriatly, it makes the faculty seem undesirable. also, in my view, i love my uniform!!

i go to a Christian school and i have to wear uniforms. its not good, no one likes them. it just takes away individuality. Men and women have died for this country, and its a shame we dont even have the freedom to wear what we want.
