Because we all know that 98% of the questions are from people who are too lazy to learn anything for themselves.

And the other 2% of the questions are asking how to get around myspace filters at school....

Totally agree. I can't understand why people ask questions that with just a few more minutes effort they could look up the information through a simple internet search. Some concepts and questions sure ,an assisting hand from those with knowledge makes sense, - but for the other 90% it is just laziness.

it makes me wonder how we all coped pre-internet when we actually had to learn stuff and go to the library if we needed to look something up.
what i have found really depressing though is reading some of the questions and knowing that at one point in my life i knew the answers but can't remember them now.

Haha, you're right.
But where else would we find the information? Online, right?
Why not just ask someone else who already knows...or who can point us in the right direction.

Life is hectic enough as it is. Why not save a few minutes so we can spend more time doing more important things.
