Lol. I think they may be asking if they eat beef or not. Anyway, cows could be their favorite animal.

Consider, since Yahoo Answers is quite possible World Wide, That question could very well have come from some younger person who, in their culture, doesn't see the use of "cow" in any manner. To them it could have been an honest question.
In any event, I've spent most of my parental life teaching my kids and other kids as well that the only dumb question, is the one never asked.
This all said, I'm sure there are those who find it amusing to ask rather unintelligent questions. If I percieve it to be so, I simply do as a previous answer suggests, and ignor it.

If you don't like the question you don't have to answer it. You do realize that IGNORING a question is an option?! Or do you feel compelled to answer every single question?
