First of all, thanks 4 taking your time 2 help me :) ok so i want to become a dentist, and ive obtained a G.E.D., and now i dont know what college to go to. i know i cant apply to a university because they wont accept my GED, ao i have to attend a Community college. which is okay on my part. but after i do those 2 years what University should i attend. also, what classes should i take at the community college? i am planning to attend Georgia perimiter college (GPC), and then transfer to University of Georgia (UGA).. What do u think? o yea and dont even bother asking why i couldnt get my high school diploma! GLAD THATS OVER WITH!! loll THANKS GUYZ!!

My professor wants us to lean more towards books and academic journals rather than the internet, which is understandable, but she has limited us to only using 2-3 resources. I have no earthly idea what I want to major in at college, I do NOT want to go to college if I am not going to get a job in the field of my major. I thought about being a 2nd or 3rd grade teacher but I don't think I would like that much. here are some things I enjoy (in no paticular order) but I am not specialized in ANY of them...

I would like to get my graduate degree in psychology. My advisor said it was extremely competitive to get into a graduate school for psychology, as in most only accept 2-8 students a year. I suspect she is irritated with me because I do not want to continue here as their specialty is educational. I would like to do industrial. Does anyone know how competitive it is or if her statement holds any truth?

How do/would i convince my mother that college just is not for me? I'm a freshman with an undecided major and am struggling in all my classes and have this Mid Term meeting tomorrow about my GPA. I'm hoping not to get kicked out because of my GPA but if i do, i'm not sure what i'd do, most likely get a job. And Math is killing my GPA, so i dropped it for Spring but still ... i'm not sure if its even worth going back.

I mean can you live off not having a degree?
