A college will not accept you into an athletic program if your GPA is that low. Colleges require their athletes to maintain a certain GPA and it's usually at least a 2.5. If you're struggling now, you'll be considered a 'liability' for any college or university. If you continue on that track, you'll be put on academic probation and then you won't even be able to participate in your sport. It's best to work on your GPA now and focus on your academics rather than your sport. I wish you the best of luck.

Average means you fit in with more than have. Few students are above average. there shouldn't be a judgement or a remark unless failing. Average is usually a B or C which is satisfactory and meets the requirements. and above average means exceeds what is required, that means that someone is or has a genuine interest to do that. This i know since was my mark in pharmacology. Other than that i was average if lucky and even got a few that were at just the passing level rated at minimum standard which means u just made it by the nick. And is graded a D. That is a bad mark, i got C's and that is acceptable and not looked down upon but in nursing they say or call it settling for a C for those who don't want to put in the extra effort and get a B as they expect us to or tell us we should or there is no way you get less than a B or we expect to see a b. But this is stereotying for the nursing profession only as they are telling us we got or have to know our stuff and cold. And to be a nurse u have to be smart and work hard lol. It's not something u have to study to be but are already gifted with this "nursing sense" they call it and i found all people i met in that profession belonged there, looked acted and had the marks and ya a B. But this is just nursing profession. But imagine all nurses were c and d's . What kind of care would the public get. Probably average. Where our ethics is standardized as giving the best care possible, being the best, Well if this teenager, young adult, is average don't fret it. I'll tell u another secret about the plan . I was told (don't know how many kids i'll have, 1 or 2?, but i was told that one of them was going to be very smart(genius)type. so . look out for the next one. It was said something like one child is going to be very smart, and not saying the other one is dumb but one is going to be apparently smarter than other. Not everyone can be this type and average is more normal and can be rated as class average and that can be 70% or more.

The NCAA, and I would guess the NAIA is similar, has some pretty strict rules about academic standards, including minimum GPA and SAT scores. Look on the appropriate website to see what they require, because the schools can't stretch this at all.

If you're amazing at your sport, a college may accept you on the condition that you join their team in that sport.
In cases like that, the school cares more about the success of their team than about your success as a student.

I wouldn't bet on it. Get your act together and try. If your trying, get a tutor. If you talk to a counselor they can probably set you up with one for free.
