What's the difference between a Radiologic Technologist and an X-Ray Tech? Please check out this site (http://www.ccsce.org/home.html) and help me figure this out!? I was under the impression they were the same thing, but if you look at the requirements for each they are totally different. Which is better as far as salary and job opportunities? Also, anyone know how I can find out which hospitals near me might offer a hospital based program to become certified in either of the two areas? Thanks.

I need help deciding my major and career path right now I am undecided?
I am not good at math or english. I am currently attending CSU college. I am thinking of working indoors maybe inside an office and not something boring which will make good money. I have no idea what to major in but nothing like psychology, business, mathematics, engineering, environmental studies, maybe something easier to finish in college. I need help?

I have a bachelors degree in History from Stony Brook University. I am interested in taking most of my Masters credits online. The university of Phoenix offers all of them online. is this a good idea? is it a crap school? Will NY schools frown upon it? Will NY schools accept it. I will , of course , get my certification from NY State. Let me know....I'm in a tough spot and I really need online classes. If U of P stinks can you recommend a suny school with a similar program.

Assuming that your car broke down, and you can't afford to fix it and you are living at home for free and the bus only costs .40 cents and less if you buy a pass, and it comes right to the University and with in a block of your home? If you would why and if not why not?

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, and I'm almost finished with my Master's Degree in Biochemistry. I really enjoy the stuff, but I like a lot of other things also. My next degree will most likely be a Juris Doctor (maybe JD-MBA) due to my love of law and political science, but I also like math, physics, business, economics, philosophy, astronomy, psychology, ecology, anthropology, history, religious studies, etc. The list could literally go on forever, and I genuinely enjoy learning about them all.

I really just want to go to school for the rest of my life... Does anyone else have this problem? Am I addicted to learning? Or do I get bored with routine jobs?

I'm not sure if I'm making the right move with law school. I have an enjoyable job in biotech, which isn't a very stable industry. I'm already 24, and I can't keep going to school forever, because that's too expensive. How do I figure out what I want to do when I have so many interests? Any ideas?

Are there certain teachers I should ask? For instance, do colleges like letters from core class teachers like the sciences or math? Or are electives ok? How many letters of recommendation do I need? Do all colleges require one from your counselor?

My life situation is becoming overwhelming. Bills, schoolwork, and family pressure are building into this mamouth amount of work. Everything is going to crumble soon if I don't do something quick. My grades are suffering and I work two jobs which aren't bringing in enough money. I have over $1,800 in monthly bills, pay for tuition out of my own loans, and have no-where to go if things fall apart. My family is struggling themselves and have little to offer, especially if I fail. Did anyone else find any secrets to getting through college? Is dropping out really that detrimental to ones career? help!

Ok so here is the problem. I have been living a big fat lie. All my family believe that I am studying to be a primary schoool teacher but i actually changed my Major to Occupational Therapy and I enjoy it. The reason I havent told my family is because I fear they will disapprove. Every time I make a decision about anything they disapprove. This is the only lie I have ever told in my life and its not fun but its kind of a lose lose situation I feel. If I tell them then I will have to deal with them making me feel inferior and they just love crushing my self esteem and self confidence. But If I keep lying then I feel guilty for not telling the truth. If they were supportive in my path I choose in life then I would have told them straight away but I have so much fear that has built up I keep ignoring it. I know what most peoples answer would be to this (kind of obvious) but how do I tell them? What would be the best thing to say that wouldnt allow them to crush my self esteem?

ok, so i am in 8th grade. I am taking 2 high school classes (phy. science and algebra 1) and I am doing well, except in algebra, but i am working on that. Anyways, i want to become an Emergency Room doctor. I want to go to UT but i need to do more i think. Like study for the SATs and ACTs and MCATs. but i want to score really high. If someone could help me stir in the right direction, so to speak, that would really help. I only want to do 7 years of college, so i got to start doing something now.
oh yea i am volunteering at an Emergency room this summer, so i will have community service hours too.

thank you for your time

i want to own tourism related companies, and i'm definitely taking commerce. do i have to take tourism? i honestly think it's a waste of money, on a subject you can just go and experience by traveling or by checking out tourism businesses, and you'll probably learn the most from that.

I am a freshman at UC Berkeley majoring in molecular and cell biology. I took Calculus I at a university my junior year of high school; however, I know that most medical schools want two years of math. Therefore, I was wondering if it would be sufficient if I took Calculus II at a community college in the summer time. Would medical schools accept this? Would these two classes together fulfill the one year math requirement? Please answer this question only if you have enough knowledge/experience about this topic. Thank you!
