There are several courses involved, if you are serious, check out some of the schools by GOOGLE-ING PERSONAL TRAINING CERTIFICATION. You can call and talk to an
Admissions Counselor @ 1-(800) 361-9919 at the U. S. Carer Institute -- and depending on where you live, there are many programs in local colleges, and junior colleges, as well as on-line classes. My best advise is to check around your area and talk to some of the more successful certified personal trainers, find out where they were certified, etc. They would be a great resource for you. Good luck!

biology?
I am assuming you mean a personal trainer, as in fitness trainer, in which case, you would take a Fitness Instructiors course so that you can become qualified to instruct. Sports Aid or any First Aid would also be assets.
Other than that, one doesn't need any sociology, psycology etc.

maybe major in athletic training. but i think to become a personal trainer you just need to take classes at a local gym and get a certificate of some sort.

My alma mater has an undergraduate program where you could major in...get this...."Recreation."
A degree like that can get you jobs in the personal gym field.
