I have advanced degrees earned the traditional way but yes, I would take online courses, if only to gain more knowledge in a field of interest such as in art history, or creative writing.

If you prefer the music appreciation class, then perhaps you should wait for a slot to become available - sometimes registered students withdraw at the last minute.

Taking a World Religion class will expand your mind, perhaps give you a more inclusive view of the world. That's something D-Cleveland needs. He could benefit from some online courses himself - on manners.

Online music apprec. is going to require a lot of listening on your own time and then writing about it. Probably a couple performance attendances too.

Since you'd likely be doing the listening and performances outside of class time, it seems to me that this is ideally suited as an online class.

Just remember to keep up with the work and not try to attend 3 concerts and learn 12 composers in one week. ☺

absolutely! I happen to love online classes, but it all depends on your study style. If you're likely to put all the work off just because you don't have to see your teacher in class during the week, then I wouldn't advise taking an online class. You really need to have good self-discipline.

Umm...

Maybe.

On-line classes aren't as easy as you think though. Give it a shot, waste your parents money. They have enough.
