An 11 of 295 isn't really "safe" by Yale standards. It's by no means a bad ranking but doesn't shine considering pretty much everyone from a public school who applies to Yale has that sort of rank or better. Heck, I knew a valedictorian with a 2400 on the SAT who got rejected by Yale.

Thats a pretty good rank but you will need more than just good class ranking to get into Yale.

No if you want into Yale then you have to be at least top 5 in your school or be top 10 in your state.
