It's impossible to tell if you're going to be able to get straight A's or not, even if you ace your work from here on out. I'd need to know how badly you've 'screwed up' to be able to tell if an A is possible.

I'd guess that if you get more than 2 grades at the close of the semester on your transcript that are not solid A's (meaning, not A-'s), you are not going to get a 4.0 total GPA.

But what you CAN do, if you're the kind of person who views B's as bad, is try to improve upon your performance semester by semester. I take it that because you're worried about your GPA, you want to go to grad/professional school. Well, those schools will be impressed if you show improvement over the years because it shows that you're a hard worker who didn't just coast by on intelligence.

If you don't get the 4.0 now, just look on every semester as a fresh start and a new opportunity.

Unlike in high school, a 4.0 GPA is the highest possible in college. A 4.0 would mean that you had A's on every single class through college. Thus, while you can probably improve your GPA considerably, if you didn't get A's so far, a 4.0 is completely impossible.
