The educational requirement is a degree in one of the business disciplines. I have mostly core and some basic business credits, but haven't picked a focus yet. I know it varies from school to school, but which will best prepare for a career as a certified financial planner?

I'm applying to a college, to skip the "easy, basic" college writing 1 course and get 3 free hours credit, you need an essay you wrote from highschool complete with your highschool teacher's signature. I never got any essays back from my highschool english teachers during the time I was in highschool, I called the school.. (not the best school in the world) and they seem to have either gotten rid of or lost the papers (essays, examples of work) they told us they'd keep for us in highschool.

I could write another essay and just have my teacher sign it, they can't really prove or not you wrote it in highschool, the teachers don't remember who is who anyway or what they wrote. But the thing is, I don't even remember writing ANY essays in highschool, and I completely forget how to write a good persuasive essay.

In my junior year I got all my english/language arts programs done early and I didn't have to take any in my senior year.. should I even bother attempting to write this essay. On my ACT i got a 34 on the writing/english/essay part. I've just been out of school for a year and I completely forget everything they supposedly taught me.. Should I just take College Writing 1 and be bored out of my mind rather than go through all the hassle and stress of trying to do all this?

College Writing 1 is basically considered a blow off class, and I really want to just skip it.. but my highschool was so bad.. theres just no documentation of anything.. what should I do in your opinion?

Here is my planned course of action...
I just finished my general ed. at a local community college and Ive been accepted at san diego state. However I am still waiting to hear back from my first choices being berkeley and ucla. Im majoring in political science and planning to either minor or double major in communications. As you all know both of those majors arent very math intensive, and business is . So I want to know If there are minumum requirements for mba programs . I know that medical schools have certain requirements like biology, chemistry, etc.... Initially I wanted to go to law school but Now I realize that a joint degree(jd/mab) would better suit my professional goals. Thanks and I look forward to reading some answers.

My goal in life is to pursue some sort of position that allows me to focus on money, trade, commerce, goods, etc. I'd like this position to be a social one that allows me to interact with people more than doing research. Ontop of that, I am willing to pursue advanced degrees (I would actually prefer to).

Does anyone have an idea of what I could major in, Business, Finance, Economics, etc, that would allow me to excel at becoming a CEO/Consultant/Special position of some sort?

I'm 26 years old, I went to a community college right after high school but I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I didn't do much of anything. I've decided I would like to be a teacher, but I don't know if it's too late to get a career like that going, I would need another 2 years of college. I'm not sure what to do.

I am interested in getting a PhD/EdD in Educational Studies but I am having trouble finding schools that offer (either online or regular classes) it. Does anybody know of any colleges that offer this program besides the University of Cincinnati?

I'm just curious to find out some answers that are concerning me about Economics. I have an interest in how productivity and demand affect America, shortage/surplus, Recession/Inflation, etc. I'm currently thinking about majoring in Economics, with minor electives in social sciences and some math courses (To supplement the econ).

My career goal is to achieve a Ph.D. in Economics. I would like to becoming a consultant for government, private business, corporations, etc. I also would like to dabble in collegiate level teaching (Maybe to MBAs and Undergrads).

I also would like to do something social in the business setting, consulting (as I said before), managing, etc. I have recently read that it is better to major in Econ than to dive into Business. I love the aspect of the Business world.
How feasible is this goal?

For example, I know there are people with law degrees who aren't practicing law, but have gotten a better job based on the fact that they have a law degree. What's best, MBA, JD, MD, other?
