I am 19 years old, planning on attending college this coming fall for pre-med. I was wondering if there are any certificates I can get to get a part-time job at the hospital doing hands on work. I volunteer there regularly so it looks good on my resume. I'm not very good with the elderly, so I'm not looking for a CNA. Please help so I have a job in the medical field until I get my *** into med school and graduate. Thanks, guys!

I'm trying to find out the best route, and the quickest yet best quality, to become a nurse practitioner. I'm an RN with an Associate Degree, and have been in the medical field for 29 yrs, since high school.

I'm interested in learning something new, and would like to stay in the medical field despite a partial disability I have. This makes it impossible to continue with physical, or even sedentary nursing, so more autonomy would be great.

If there are any legitimate at home job for an RN, that would be very helpful in the meantime. Any ideas?

I've been Charge nurse in a high acuity med-surg unit in a teaching hospital, and presently Charge in a Surgery/Oncology unit. I also work ENT/Ortho/GI/GU/Oral/Plastics/Derm clinics, and Minor surgery.

I was a certified scrub tech prior. I worked in the OR for 10 yrs. I trained at the best, 'Big Charity' in New Orleans.
Motto: 'See one, do one, teach one' I specialized in Ortho and Neuro, training new staff.

Thanks for input!

I'm a Junior in high school and I like writing. I want to go to North East School of the Arts to major in writing, but I need to improve my writing skills. Do you know a place where I could find higher level writing prompts for essays or short response so that I can at least have an idea of what it's like?
I'm quite serious about this, so I'd really appreciate some help.
Thanks.

I am a senior in highschool and my dream right now is to become a surgeon. I want to be careful about the decisions I make next because it will shape my future. I slacked off my junior year so my GPA is a 3.25. I think what I need to do is study pre-med in a community college for 2 years first to bring up my GPA and then transfer to a University. My dream is to attend Berkeley but I know this will take lots of loans and lots of hard work. Any advice would be SO helpful. I just wanna the best way that I should do this.

I'm doing a 20,000 word dissertation on acquired disability and the reconstruction of identity after disablement. Does anyone know if it's even possible for me to do it before 30th March? It seems like I have way too much to do. I've done interviews, but nothing else. Has anyone done one in less time than that?
