I know that to become a good lawyer you need to be able to have the ability to communicate well. I can communicate with people, but I wouldn't necessarily say that I am too good at it. Is there a way I can get better at this?

Also, my dream is to go to Stanford. I know it's kind of too much to hope for, but I have straight A's in school and I think I might have a chance.

I would really appreciate any advice that anyone could offer to me; I know I am a little too young but I think it is good to get a head start on things.

I'm taking a Science college class. The professor has a Phd. I have been taking the class for exactly two weeks. The spring semester started two weeks ago. Anyhow, he is a brillliant guy however, he is kind of rude. He told the class on the first day if we are going to be absent during his class we need to call him. That is not bad but, he said to the class even if your in a ambulance and have to be rushed to the hospital you need to call him from a cell phone if you are going to miss his class. He also gave out his home phone number because he says now you do not have any exsuse not to call me if you are going to be absent. He also does not let students ask questions in his class. He told a student you can ask a question after I'm done lecturing. In addtion, he talks really fast. And, he told us even if we have a death in the family and there is a quiz that day we cannot make it up. Now, I feel he is a brilliant man but, he has no compassion about his students well being.

Hi, my cousin would like to do a MBA course in UK. I was told that most universities only accepts those with at least 2/3 yrs of work experience. She has only had 6months. I have heard that there are 5 to 6 unis that dont require the work experience, does anybody know which ones those are? She already has an MBA in India if that would help? Thanks.

I read many things about it. I know holding a masters degree sounds good and that shows that you work hard for it. But, is it worth all the money and time you spent on it.

Now that you work, do you make the money that you thought you can make with your degree. Will you have chosen a different path?
I have a bachelor's degree ( foreign degree), and I am thinking about getting a Master's in counseling (difficult) or an associates degree ( practical, less school work).
Please help me. I think about it all day long.

One of my great regrets is not doing History for GCSE, A-level and degree level. I am now 25 with a science degree and I am pondering how I could go about doing a history degree. Is it possible to do this, and what requirements are there (such as first doing an evening course A-level, perhaps)? I want to do it purely as I am interested in the subject!

I applied for various Ph.D programs in history in the fall of my senior year of college. I know how competitive the market can be for historians and I only want to get into one of the best programs in my field of study. Out of the 5 programs I applied to I got into 1, but for various reasons I decided not to go, instead to take a few years off doing other things. I still really want to study history at the graduate level and I feel that I need to get into a good school (mind you not a "prestigious" school just one with a good program.) MY GPA ended up being about 3.9 from a school with a good reputation, and since applying and being rejected I have completed an honors thesis. I am planning on spending these years off picking up new languages and improving on already learned ones, as my field of interest is non-US (or British.) I just want to know, is there anything else I can do to help me get in?

Becoming a ob/gyn nurse practioner is one of my biggest goals for myself, but I don't know where to begin being that I have never attended college before.I ultimately want to deliver babies. I have a love for it. If someone knows how I can get into school for this field, please by all means, respond to my question because I don't know where to start. I have a G.E.D. , and I know that I will have limited choices, but I am extremely determined to become an OB/GYN doctor.
