What if I may end up being a Biology major, but I have trouble with Physics, Chemistry, Trigonometry, and Algebra. Will I have trouble with them in college, also, even if I try really hard? In high school, I struggle with these classes, but I manage to make A's, B's, and C's in these classes. Can some one give me some advice on these classes? Could I come out with at least C's even if I do not understand the material, the class, or the work?

I'm looking for colleges and universities that might be considered "all-american". Places where a mature, good student can find philosophical discussion and the opportunity to do some volunteering or community service.

I have taken the ACT 3 times and I am about to for the fourth. I have gotten the same score 3 times in a row and it is kind of low, especially for someone with my kind of grades and the classes that I take. I am getting really discouraged and this is almost my last time to take it before it is too late for scholarships and college admissions. I want to know about ANYTHING that can help!!!! Are there any special disks, software, books, classes, tutorials, etc that could help me? Is there anything that can help me? Is there anything that I can do on the test, other than my best, that will help me? One person told me that when the time runs out she marks all of her answers of one letter. If anyone has some tips like that, I really would like to know.

Im in the 8th grade right now, and today i got an application for the IB program, which is a college preperatory program all through high school. And since i really wanna go to college, im seriously thinking about doing it. But there is only one school in the entire coumnty which has the IB program, and it's a different school than im zoned for next year. Yeah, i get a free variance and a bus ride if im in IB, but ill be leaving most of my friends. One other plus is that my best friend, who doesnt go to my middle school, might be in IB too, and then I get to see him everyday. But ill be leaving the rest of my friends behind while they go to the school they are zoned for. What do you thnk i should do?Should i not go for the IB program and just go through regular high school? Will it down my chances of getting into a REALLY good college? Orshould i take the chance and be in IB?

I was wondering if a 4.0 GPA is easy to get at your university or easy to maintain. Do alot of students have this or just a few select ones?

I'm a sophomore. When the subject arose last year, I told my then-roommate that she was away too much after a death in her immediate family, and that I didn't enjoy the last few months of living with her because I was basically alone.

This year I'm rooming with three other girls in a suite, and it's been a lot of fun. One of the suitemates is studying abroad this semester, and I'm fairly confident she will be rooming with different girls next year. Today at lunch, I was asked, along with my other suitemate (not my roommate), to room with two of our other friends in one of the on-campus apartments next year. I want to do this, but I don't know how to tell my current roommate, without hurting her feelings, that there is no room for her in the new apartment.

I left academia after taking an undergraduate degree, but live in a city dominated by universities, and rub shoulders with the above group a lot. Why are male university staff members such losers, with hair that goes grey in their early 30s? Why do they have no real friends, except their fellow studious knobends, and pathetic hobbies like cross-country running?

A lobbyist was trying to get a farmer-legislator to vote against funds for the state university. He asked the farmer if he knew that his daughter would be forced to matriculate in front of other students. Further did he know that she would be expected to let faculty examine her thesis. And and at the end she would, in front a stadium full of people, to commence. The F-L said "I will not vote them a d*** cent.

I have read that businesses are looking for graduates to head their management programs and such that have backgrounds in economics, finance, and accounting rather than plan BBA in Management.

If I were planning on climbing the ladder once I got out of college, what would be the best major to market myself with? I have no plans on becoming a CPA unless I cannot find a suitable starting location/position.
