i want to work in the animal field..don't really know what. any suggestions? what areas does the college focus on more? thier website?....

Are you in college yet, if you want to be a vet you first have to do 4 years of undergrad, then apply to vet school and do 4 more years. So you could do zoology for your undergrad then apply to vet school. Check out north carolina state.

Start at the top and work down.
For DVM your choices are Auburn, Cornell, U. of Minn. and Washington State. To have a look at everything go to:

If I had my choice this hour I would head out to Pullman and Washington State. My next choice would be Colorado State at Fort Collins. Then it would be a toss up between Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

Advanced technology and research are always in focus at these schools.

If you don't want to be a doctor on one hand, or be stuck washing Poodles on the other? I got the feeling that there might be more layers to the program in Kansas. These are things you will need to check out in detail -- not to mention what costs may be in another four years.

Ohio State offers a great program in veterinarian.

Colorado State has a really good vet school (i hear).
