Math is math. English is English. Which over-priced university is the most overated? In other words, which one best markets the campus and buildings and does not have the best of the academic programs?

This is an ignorant question. If you believe that private colleges are not worth the money, then go to a state school and don't make a fuss about it.

There are a lot of very smart, accomplished people who think that attending a top university with a tradition of excellence, a beautiful campus, world class faculty, and classmates who are among the best students in the world, is a good plan.

Maybe they know something you don't know.

Each of the Ivy universities, and the other elite schools such as Stanford, Chicago, Duke, MIT, Caltech, etc has its own personality and culture. They are terrific.
