when I enrolled there for the first time, Fall 2004, I decided my major was going to be Computer Science, because I was into computers a lot. Now, that I've been there for two 2 1/2 years I have decided that I want to change major...I want to be a pharmacist. I hear pharmacy schools are very competitive and usually takes you about 5-6 yrs to graduate. I also heard that you are interviewed before being admitted to a pharmacy school....what kind of questions are they going to ask me? Also, I have taken many undergraduate courses (ex: English, math, etc), I have almost completed them all, so now I should be taking the ones that will prepare me to transfer to a pharmacy school right?

I see that a lot of people don't think highly of the UoP. But it is convenient for people like me who work full-time, so I was thinking that a Communications degree from there might be a good one to get. It seems like it would be more accepted, as opposed to a business degree from there.

I currently have a BS in Sociology (which is useless) and was wondering which Masters level degree I should pursue, MS in Counseling or MSW or perhaps something else. I want to work with kids, obviously this includes the families as well but I want to be very child-focused and be able to interact and build relationships with children personally. Paperwork doesnt bother me, but I would be very nervous going on home visits alone (I know of a social worker who was killed during such a visit). Any help you could offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm 16 years old. This June I'll be a freshman in one of the universities in the Philippines. I'll be taking up Organizational Communication course under the College of Liberal Arts.

Hence, I need to know where to find a laptop in decent shape at an affordable price because I know I'll be needing it much given my desired line of study.

I hope you can help me and hanks for taking the time!
xD

My professor from a community college in Los angeles told me that those online universities such as Devry and university of phoenix are not good. The degree they give isn't really worth it. Is this true? I also heard from radio today that one such a school are giving MBA in one year. How does that work? I thought it normally takes 2 years to get an MBA after you get your bachelor's degree.

im a 19 year old female who just received her g.e.d.,and i should be obtaining my bachelors from phoenix-on ground campus by 22,which means by 25 i might have a masters and by my early 30's i can have a doctorate.i admit i made mistakes in highschool and wasnt able to obtain a 3.0 gpa but now ive matured and im obtaining above a 3.5 at phoenix.Phoenix overrall,id say has a good reputation but gets some bad rep.Probabaly from people who went to traditional universities getting angry that they did something less convenient,or people who work for other colleges. It's funny how a bunch of state universitys like fayettville state and morgan state were trying to get me.But i think all of you who are against the university of phoenix dont know what your talking about.Pheonix is accreddited. you should do further research.

What if I may end up being a Biology major, but I have trouble with Physics, Chemistry, Trigonometry, and Algebra. Will I have trouble with them in college, also, even if I try really hard? In high school, I struggle with these classes, but I manage to make A's, B's, and C's in these classes. Can some one give me some advice on these classes? Could I come out with at least C's even if I do not understand the material, the class, or the work?
