I think it is likely that you are attending a community college. They usually have free tutoring available and you should avail yourself of this service. Don't panic - no one remembers much math after being out of school for years.
Math is absolutely necessary for nurses so they won't make errors in determining dosage amounts for medicine. Just obtaining answers to math questions will not make you a better nurse - you need to understand how the problems are worked.

definitely go 4 ur lpn the pay is way greater and the flexibility,opportunities,and superiority are better as a nurse thanan ma. also i grad valed.of my lpn class and maintained a 4.0 in every class throughout school so let me know what u need help with i'm sure i will be able to help u.

I went back to school for my GED at 52, I found Math much easier seems that as you get older you are more organized in your thought process. Good luck, you'll have fun playing with the
"kids"

Do not fear sneerglaw!! Math is all about practice. If you sit down and take the time to practice the problems, examples etc. you can do fine. I truly believe anyone can do math if you take the time to practice it. Most people are too lazy... don't be one of them and you will be okay!

I GRADUATED HI-SCHOOL IN 1972 .I GOT INJURED IN 1995 AND HAD TO FIND ANOTHER WAY TO SURVIVE .SO I WENT TO COLLEGE.SETTING IN THAT CLASS I REALIZED HOW SMART THAT I WAS.THE THING WAS I WAS GOING BECAUSE I WANTED TO AND NOT BECAUSE I HAD TO.I TOOK ELECTRONICS AND STRUGGLED THRU IT BECAUSE I HATE MATH !!!!.BUT MY TEACHER NEW THAT I WAS TRYING .TRUST ME U WILL BE ALL RIGHT!
