Curriculum is a singular nominative neuter noun, so the plural ending is -a, i.e. curricula. The vitae is the genitive form of vita (feminine, 1st declension), but that shouldn't change. The translation "course of life", in the plural form would be "courses of life" and not "courses of lives". So, the guy that said Curricula vitae is right. If you were looking for courses of lives, then the latin would be "curricula vitarum"

In common usage, and not to appear stilted (not appropriate obviously since you had to ask), "vitas".
