i feel taking arts will be wise because you can later do your graduation in history , geography which are very important subjects in the i.a.s exams, taking science will leave two main options that is either engineering or medical which will give you no time to prepare for i.a.s exams side-by-side infact many students loose focus for preparing for i.a.s with engg or medical background these days as they get many lucrative oppertunities.

It depends on where your aptitude lies or you could choose a stream where you are weak and prepare for your I.A.S exams, since the streams you are strong can be managed personally by yourself or with some extra coaching. This will develop your overall knowledge and be helpful for the enterance exam.
