Can I take GMAT at this point of time? If so what are the top universities? Can I join the batch which starts in Fall 2007?

Coming to the US for an MBA is a good decision. Eight of the top ten MBA programs worldwide are in the US, and about half of the top 100 are in the US.

To be honest, it isn't worth coming to the US for an MBA unless you can get into a ranked school. The top universities in the US want you to have three to five years of work experience. I've provided links to B-School rankings in the US.

You can take te GMAT any time. Your scores are good for five years. It is too late to apply for admission to good MBA programs for Fall 2007. But, as I said, they want you to have work experience -- so you shouldn't be applying for thre to five years anyway.
