Which is better: Cable or Satellite? It's a question we've all been asked, but what's really the difference? Does the difference in prices really make up for what you gain?

My laptop has a 7 pin S-Video TV Out, and I want to connect it to my TV, which has an S-Video port.

I've been looking at cables, and a lot of them seem to be 4 pin. My question is, will these plug into my laptop's TV Out and provide a good picture?

It is plugged into a working outlet. TV is probably 10-12 years old. Not a sound when trying to turn it on. Remote has new batteries and power button on tv does nothing.

I now have the FiOS Internet, and it works great, and television is not in my area yet. I would like to know if someone who has it recommends it. How would you compare it to Comcast Digital Cable, and Dish Network/DirecTV? They say it should be available in six weeks.

Magnavox remote is trashed, was dropped into cup of tea. Trying the universal remote but so far no success with codes listed in the guide.

I thought I was getting my cable back today, but it's not so I'm stuck with this antennae for another few weeks at least. I don't know the brand but it plugs into the wall and has a big flat plastic dish-like thing in the middle and it lets you adjust the gain. Problem is it doesn't seem to get very good reception at all. Part of the problem is that we're on the bottom floor of an apartment and I think the wiring in other apartments may affect the signal sometimes. Is there something I can buy or do to boost the power of this anennae so I can watch TV without getting a headache?

I have just purchased a LG DLP rear projection tv and find that sometimes I get the background music to a show but not the talking. Usually only on one channell (9) and the ads work fine. Would this be a problem with my tv, channell 9 or just a hdtv clitch??????

Both still work well, but I have upgraded, and have no idea what to do with these old heavy things. Seems a shame and environmentally damaging to throw them away.
