I have just purchased a LG DLP rear projection tv and find that sometimes I get the background music to a show but not the talking. Usually only on one channell (9) and the ads work fine. Would this be a problem with my tv, channell 9 or just a hdtv clitch??????

I should have mentioned. This problem only occurs on the HD channell. If I change to the SD channell all the audio is fine.

It is possible that either the TV or the channel is at fault, but most likel the station. You say it only happens on channel 9; but are you sure that it is the channel itself, and not the fact that it is broadcasting Dolby Digital 5.1? You say the ads work fine. Ads are rarely broadcast in Dolby Digital; when you are watching other stations, maybe they are not broadcasting in Dolby Digital either; then those would work ok on your TV. But if you can catch a program on another station that you know is broadcast in Dolby Digital, and you can't get the talkng then, then your TV is having a problem decoding the center channel (which is what contains all the talking). If it works ok on another channel using Dolby Digital, then it is the station.
