either the gun used shoots a small red paintball to look like blood or they use blanks and the effects are done by computer later.

The usual method is a device called a "squib." It is a packet with a small explosive charge containing fake blood.

When the bullet is supposed to hit the victim the squib is triggered and gives the effect of a bullet impact. Multiple squibs may be used as needed. There are some other ways including CGI that can be used, but the squib is the classic method.

there are dummy runds in the guns blanks if u will. when the gun is shot the person intended for the bullet will be wearing a blood shot a sort of exploding bag of blood looking substance that would in turn be trigered at the right time. If u are old enough and haven't allready seen it watch the movie FX it will clue u in on alot of hollywood magic

well any guy that is making out at the movies always carrys a loaded gun... to much sexual thinking in the movie could actually cause a missing bullet if u know what i mean hehehhehehee..

There's a sound activated blood pack under there clothes so when u shoot blanks the blood pack pops and if u didnt know warrens a huge geek

they dont in movies they have either blood splatter projectiles or the person is wearing what they call a blood vest a blood vest is just a plastic coat that has a few pockets of red stuff in em wethere its blood or not i dont know?
