I spilled grape juice concentrate on my digital camera yesterday =[

It powers on and seems to take pictures ok, but I want to clean it up a little inside. What should i use for a cleaning solution?

The person and camera are in another state, and he wants to send a bunch (over 200) pictures from his digital camera to me, but doesn't know how. Is there a program for him to use to zip them so they don't take so long? Neither of us are good with computers

Ok well the Leica I am giving my wife for x-mass can except 55mm filters. Leica sells many filters to fit it but was snooping though one of my wifes camera bags and found a lot of UV filter and Polerized glass Filters that said 55mm. Are most filters universal as long as the mm is matched or will I need to by the specific leica filter. Just curious to see if some of them would fit?

I dropped my (New) Nikon D40x and now the flash does not work. It does pop up but does not work! Unfortunately, the camera was not insured!

I want to get a nice tripod for my camera (Nikon D-50, likely will have my SB-600 attached).

I got the $20 walmart model years ago, and it's falling apart after what I say is minimal use. I want to upgrade to a nicer model, but I'm tripod-stupid and don't know what to look for.

Can you recommend a good model, or tell me what I should look for?

I can look at my pictures and everything but when i try to use the screen it says ACCESS and the lens goes all crazy. Ive tried holding the power button down for 30 seconds with the battery taken out and ive also tried emptying my memory card...one of it works. it used to work every now and then. it would do this for about 20 min and then it would be fine but suddenly its been a week and its not working. ive hit it onmy palm a couple times and that used to work but none of that works anymore! What can i do?

I would like:

High optical and digital zoom
Large LCD screen
Easy to use- not a million fancy features
Video with sound
Ability to zoom in during video capture
No higher than £200

I have a Mamiya Sekor 1000 DTL camera and the mirror is stuck in the up position. How much would it cost to fix this? Would I be better off getting a new camera or fixing this one?

I'm looking at these two digital cameras:

There are a few differences between the two, obvious ones like the 7.1 megapixels on the newer model, and some differences that I don't understand because I don't know absolutely everything about digital camera specs. Specifically I'm wondering about the "minimum focusing range" and "minimum shutter speed"; there's quite a difference between the two models, it seems? Can anyone help enlighten me on what these specs mean and what a desirable range is for these numbers?

If anyone has this camera I hope you can tell me how long the battery last before you need a recharge. And also any other suggestions or tips. I was planning on buying the plug in charger for the wall since you have to recharge on your computer and I won't be able to if I am away from home. Thank you.

I just bought a Kodak Easyshare M883 camera and I need a memory card.

I have a few questions...

Do I need to buy a Kodak memory card or will any brand sd card work?

Also what are the differences in just regular sd ones compared to "ultra" or "premium"?

If its a better brand will the pictures look different and have a better quality or does it just affect how its stored?

As you can tell im not that good with this type of stuff so any explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Why is my Sony Cybershot DSC-S700 picture quality not as good as my Samsung Digimax D53? The Samsung is only 5 mp while teh Sony is 7.2 mp. I adjusted everything on the Sony. Sharpness, brightness. everything What the heck? Also, why doesnt the cybershot have sound when you try to watch it on the camera.

I'm a journalist who wants to get into photography. I want to buy a decent digital SLR camera that is good value for money. Probably under £700. Also, the lighter the better as I have my phone, notepads, dictaphone etc to carry already!
