I'm planning to buy a Nikon D80 which comes either comes with a 18-70mm lens or with a 18-135mm lens. My question is, since I already have a Nikkor AF 28-85mm lens that I use with my analog reflex camera, which one of these lenses should I choose?

I originally wanted to buy the Nikon D80 in its "body only" version but a salesperson told me that since my lens was non-digital the values printed on the lens would not be true to what I'm getting with my analog reflex.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I've got a Digital Camera under the tree and am wanting to buy a card for it before Christmas. I won't be saving alot of the pictures on my camera nor will I be taking pictures like they are going out of style. I'm just wanting to know how many pictures a 512 MB SD Card will hold. I have a Kodak Easyshare 5MP.

Anybody have experience with photography? I am getting into it and I have a camera already but I just bought that one to take random picture of events, its not a really good camera to take awesome pictures with. I'm going to enroll in a photography course in Feb. and my parents are going to buy my camera for me for Christmas - but I don't want them to spend too much money on it - does anyone know a great camera within the price range of 2-3 hundred dollars (maybe 350) any advice would be great!

I really enjoy doing photography. I have a Nikon Coolpix 2200 and it does okay, but I am interested in getting a nicer digital camera. I don't want one that is too expensive. Any suggestions?

I was taking pics with my camera and turned the dial to view the pics and my screen turned purple. I sent it in to Sony and they are saying that somewhere along the line, the camera had impact damage - even though it was still working at the time. They won't fix it. What can I do or say to make them fix it without me paying the $200 they want? Help!

if you personaly have this camera and have feed back it would be GREAT if not and but yet you have lot's of knowlege on digital camera's that would be helpfull too. I do not know the first thing about digital camera's except the better megapixel "usually" the better quality photo. here is the link http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5297445

thank you in advance!!
