I have been searching for a good digital camera that I can buy for under $300. I want it to have at least 8MP and I want the pictures to be of good quality. I found a camera that I like and the price is great, but is the camera of any worth? The camera is the Polaroid i832. Please let me know if you know anything about this camera! Thanks!

I'm looking for a good digital camera but I know nothing about them. What should be considered when shopping for a camera. Does higher the pixels, mean better picts? Any advise would help.

my professor says film is the foundation and once you master that digital comes easy. I've also fallen in love with the dark room, even though it can be time consuming. What do you think?

they are saying they want $181 in order to fix it because they say its from "impact" damage and that voids the warranty. But I was using the camera when it broke..I was taking pictures and then I turned it to view the pics and then it froze up. Can I fight this??? How?

Last October (in 2006) I bought a Nikon Coolpix S6 camera from Office Depot store in Chicago. I brought it from US to India. It worked fine for three four months but after that it stopped taking picture. I am very sure that I have not done any sort of mishandling with it. The service center says I have to send it to US to avail the warranty. They say it's lens is not working and it requires replacement.

I am not very sure what to do? Is there any surety that I would get back the camera in proper shape If I mail it to Nikon US from New Delhi, India. This was one of my most cherished buy so all timely responses are most welcome. Thank you.

Can someone take the time to explain to me the pros and cons of setting up and using a picture style? Also, why would I not want to push the sharpness to the limit? Thanks for the advice.

this is my fifth stolen digital camera in 2 years, and frankly this time I really want to find it and get it back. Is it possible to find my camera if the person who uses it uploads photos from the camera on the internet?

Ok so christmas is coming and I want to buy a digital camera.
I really like photographic art and I want to get more into it,maybe even make a career in it.Anyway I don't really know much about digital cameras and they're properties and features so I need help in learning what makes a camera good.
I'd really appreciate a link to website or webpage that tells everything about digital cameras,pixels,optical/digital zoom and stuff like that.
