In my opinion, Canon's have always been a great camera to own. My past 2 cameras have been canons and my future upgrade will be a Canon also. They have great picture quality and the bodys are very durable.

I think either Canon or Sony I like sonys my self i bought there 2 megapixel camera like 4 years ago(i know 2 megapixels! what a joke!) but i manily bought it cause it was so small! i still like it its a super compact camera it even has a video mode the videos dont turn out that good though kinda sucks and there is no sound which really sucks but what ever! but the still pictures are very good clear nice color saturation!! so u can imagine what there 5 or 6 megapixel cameras would be like!! my dad bought a canon camera for his cousin and it was a 7 megapixel that had VERY good quality great movie mode to! it was nice looking to. I like that credit card sized camera that Sony had a few years ago its so skinny it has 5 megapixels very cool! hope this helps! happy holidays and a happy new year!
