Just keep in mind that these reviews were writen almost two years ago. With 'just' 5.1 megapixels etc, the H1 isn't exactly state of the art any more. The H1 should be a good budget model by now. The Canon S3 is a year newer (Feb. 2006) and looks better.

a sony camera isnt a bad choice....the only thing is that with a sony brand camera you have to use sony equipment such as an sony SD card....so just keep that in mind
