I had this problem too with my Kodak camera. I forget offhand the format Kodak uses for videos, but it's not recognized by my DVD player.

What I did was transfer the movie to my computer, then play it (with Microsoftr Media Player) while having my computer external monitor hooked up to a DVD recorder (or VCR) monitor input jack, while setting the latter to "record."

It's kinda the hard way to do it, but the only way I could make work.
