I planning on getting a Diskeeper software program and I have a pc and 2 notebooks that needs it. It have 2 objectives to this is, maintaining at it top perfomance and save money. Save money is the now my second target that I having a problem.

I recently created a post card design using Microsoft Word, but now I want to transfer the design to Photoshop and save it as a PDF File. How do I do this? Or where online can I learn how to do this for FREE?

I NEED this file. I think it is an auto save of a HUGE word document that I lost when my cat jumped on the keyboard and logged me out. Whenever I open the file it promts mme with some sort of file conversion thing. No matter what I chose, it appears as a bunch of rectangles and an occasional number... PLEASE HELP

when i click on the access icon on my desktop and my access program pops up, there is off to the right an area labeled "open recent database".. i sent from there, to the recycle bin, a database i no longer want. why is it that after i emptied my recycle bin containing the name of that access db, the icon still appears on the right side of the access pop up window? i wish to rid of that displayed db name.

ok everytime i do something like open a new window or tab or go away from a website this thing pops up saying a website wants to open we content using this program oon your computer and the program is adobe flash player how do i stop from making this pop up everytime i do somethin?

bought the new "all in one" Vaio computer and I know it comes with windows vista (which i wasn't too happy about I'll admit, i heard it sucks)

is it possible to install windows XP or something like that over it if it came with vista as a defualt?

And can I still install my favorite computer games that were made before vista came out?

also, reading some other peoples questions on vista and the answers are starting to scare the **** out of me.....

i can move all my documents and stuff into the new computer right?

I'm also worried about my games, i love gaming (i don't install too many, like 2 at a time and uninstall when i'm done, not to mention i don't have much time anymore anyways)

Can anyone say ANYTHING good about vista? Or did i just waste money?

I am having trouble seeing outlining borders on the internet too-maybe I have my resolution set wrong or something--I can see the gridlines in Excel but they are real faint--same as this box I am typing in now --I can barely see the outline of the box I'm typing in--any help?

I've been thinking about installing Linux Ubuntu on my pc since a lot of people told me it's far better than Windows. I still have WinXP and in my opinion it's quite good OS, but it seems that Vista isn't the best choice. And since i'm going to buy a new pc it will obviously have Vista.
If someone of you has Linux, what d'you advice me to do? Should I install linux? What about its compatibility with such programs as eMule, WinAmp? Is there a program similar to Windows Movie Maker in Linux? I'm quite confused and don't know what to do, so I would be grateful to anyone who can give me some useful advice.

I want to make videos to upload to Youtube, and i heard windows movie maker is good, but i dont want to download this service pack thing, as it is my housemates computer, ill have no problem downloading it when i get my computer in a couple of months, its just now.

does anybody know how to get around downloading the pack? or of any other movie maker programmes i can download to make a video?

also, i dont know which version of Windows is installed on this pc....

I have an old version of Norton (2002) they no longer have the uninstall tool for that year. It is not in my Add/Remove list, only Symantec and it will not allow me to remove it? What can I do- I tried manually deleting it, but it just made my computer go haywire- it has it's tentacles everywhere!

I have no idea why this wont download. I have tried to both save the file and also run it. When i run it i get the above message and when i save the file it saves it in the relevant folder but gives me the same error message as above also. Furthermore i get a message stating that the file i am trying to download is from an unknown publisher even though its getting downloaded from apple.com. Please help

whenever I organize them, they like to reset themselves to another position later and I have to re-organize it over and over, and I also dont like locking them as they make a wallpaper look bad when they add the shading behind the names of them.
also how do you hide the icons, it would be nice to hide the Recycling Bin as I use a different program to delete stuff.

The stupid icon things are such a waste of visual space. I know you used to be able to set the default so folders opened up showing files as a list or a details view but now it seems to always be in icon mode.

Is there a way to change this default view?

What does it mean when this message appers after you have clicked on a link from a website to watch a video=

I installed Vista Ultimate over windows XP pro, and yes windows did keep the other version of windows files, however windows vista refuses to install windows xp pro my windows vista says that it has been blocked be cause of compatability issues, im was wondering if i formated the hard disk with a windows 98SE boot disk and CD-Rom, and the upgraded that to windows XP Pro My graphics card is a Nvidia 7800Gs 512MB said on box vista compatable any how i hate vista and i want it off my Beloved PC. Would the Windows 98se Format work...

my 2yr old laptop just came back from the techs and they put a new hardrive in it and now i dont have various software like my printer, blackberry and digital recorder. The digital recorder download is asking for a serial number that i no longer have. What can I do? I have a conference recorded that i can not download.

I need to create a powerpoint presentation on Outlook 2003, just the basics: Creating a new message, some features, scheduling, etc. The only presentations I can find are pretty advanced. I would create it myself, but I am having a hard time finding screen shots and icons.

Does anyone know where I can find a powerpoint presentation on this?
