It won't be of any use...here's why:
Your IT Department at your school tracks everything that is accessed on the network, including every web site that is visited and also who visited that site. If they see that you accessed a "proxy" site, they have every right to make it so that you cannot access the Internet at all. You might get off with a warning and they will watch you very closely for a while, but I wouldn't take the chance if you want any Internet at all.
