Cant download itunes, error message reads itunes setup.exe is not a valid win 32 application?

I have no idea why this wont download. I have tried to both save the file and also run it. When i run it i get the above message and when i save the file it saves it in the relevant folder but gives me the same error message as above also. Furthermore i get a message stating that the file i am trying to download is from an unknown publisher even though its getting downloaded from apple.com. Please help

It's most likely that the file isn't downloading correctly. iTunes is a big download, at over 40MB.
