i use windows xp , and yesterday i was manipulating something in the registry editor and ended up deleting the address of the sub-folders of a folder . i am quite sure i never deleted the contents of that folder and it was the ( foolish ) change in registry of the folder that made the folder become empty .

can any one help out by suggesting any method that can help me get those sub-folders back , any software recommendation or any sort of guidance that can do this .

i would like to add that the original folder is still there in my computer , just as an empty folder.....if that helps anything

I had just reprogrammed by windows 98 computer to a windows xp professional. I guess my computer is running really slow and doesn't have much ram for xp and I want to change it back to windows 98. But when I insert my Windows 98 system recovery disk and it says something about an FDISK program. I have no clue about this. This has never happened to me before. Help!

What the heck am I doing wrong? I have tried going to my calender clicking on new appointment and I tried using the Task pane. It STILL DOESN"T WORK!!! What am I doing wrong! This would make my work go so much smoother if I could get this dagon thing to work instead of scribbling things to do on a million sticky notes around my computer screen. I have a program called DVD Decrypter and from there, I burn the movies using Roxio. But I wanted to burn a movie thats double sided (disc). I want to know if you download the files of the DVD into the same folder for both sides of the disc and then burn. Is there a way to do this?

that space between the text and the line wont go away. i tried adjusting the row height by incrementation and manually with my mouse, but to no avail.

the reason i am trying to get rid of it is because I have a bunch of tables on this resume template, and nothing about it is consistant

any ideas?

I have had a new laptop with vista for about a month and then i notice that out of my 60gigs, 30 are already filled up. Right now photoshop is probably the biggest thing on here and ive installed a couple more things but none are nearly as big. Can anyone tell me a reason for this and does anyone know anything i can do to open up space like removing unnecessary stuff?
