here is what it looks like:

..........text.............
-----------------------

that space between the text and the line wont go away. i tried adjusting the row height by incrementation and manually with my mouse, but to no avail.

the reason i am trying to get rid of it is because I have a bunch of tables on this resume template, and nothing about it is consistant

any ideas?

Select the table and click on the Tables menu and choose Properties. On the 'Cell' tab check that the 'Vertical Alignment' is set to Bottom. If there is still some space between the text and the bottom line, turn on the Show/Hide button and check that there is no Paragraph mark after the text, if there is, remove it by inserting the cursor and clicking the Delete key.

Highlight the whole table.

Go to Table Menu -> Table Properties

Click on the Row tab

Click in the box for "Specify Height"

Type the height you want and choose "Exactly" from the drop down list after "Row height is:"

Click OK

You may need to experiment to get the height looking right for all the rows.

You said Horizontal Space but I think you mean Vertical Space.

What did you try?

First, click on the line with text. Format > Paragraph > Indents and Spacing. You can control the text positioning and space-before and space-after each line, down to a 1pt increments.

Does this help?
