Formating Paragraph to double space will only put double space between LINES, but not between WORDS.

The easy way to do is - just type regularly with single space. After you finish typing the document, go to Edit menu and click on Replace or simply press the combination of Control and H (Ctrl + H). You will have a Replace dialogue box and there .... Find what: ( enter a single space ) and in Replace with: (enter a double space) and click on Replace All. That will replace all single spaces with double spaces.

Hope this helps.

Double Spacing inbetween each word is an old format used with typewriters. These days it is more acceptable to use the single space format. If you really wish a double space between each word, use the Space Bar to inset two. A green wavey line will indicate an error, but just ignore the error marking as it will not print.

This is really the best you can do with Microsoft Word. If you notice, when you import text into Word from another source and it used double spaces between sentences, each instance shows as an error inside Word. Usually, these double spaces are from Online forum posts where automatic correction is not done.

I double checked the Options, Auto Correction, Correct as You Type, and other formatting options within Word, and it is as I believed. Just put in your own double spacing after each sentence and ignore the error markings. As I said, those error markings do not print when you print a document. Yes, they can be annoying, but that is the best you can do. Sorry.

This didn't help much, but have a nice day.

I simply don't know, and I've taught Word! You can put anything from 1.2 to 2 or more spaces between EVERY letter, including between words, but to do this just between words, I don't know. If you want character spacing, click on Format, Font, then Character Spacing and select the amount of space you want between each character. I don't think this is what you want, and I'm sorry.

i see two options.

1. Press spacebar twice after each word.

2. Set up TAB's to the same distance and use the TAB key instead of spacebar between words.
