i use windows xp , and yesterday i was manipulating something in the registry editor and ended up deleting the address of the sub-folders of a folder . i am quite sure i never deleted the contents of that folder and it was the ( foolish ) change in registry of the folder that made the folder become empty .

can any one help out by suggesting any method that can help me get those sub-folders back , any software recommendation or any sort of guidance that can do this .

i would like to add that the original folder is still there in my computer , just as an empty folder.....if that helps anything

Memory is much too dynamic to find pages that once had your registry in them. Did you back up your registry before you went in to manipulate it? I'm terribly sorry, but there is no help for it.
