I have just bought a Mac.

If I load Open Office onto my system, am I able to save the files in Word format to transfer to my work PC ?

Am I also able to save Word files and open them using Open Office.

It would be a real saving if I could !

Well I got microsoft xp 2007 it was pre-installed but that computer went to crap so naturally I wanted to keep everything and not have to buy the software. So I put the HD in one I made and now it asks me to register my liscense with microsoft. Now what if I waited out would it just bring me to that screen where I have to or will I be able to use my computer.

I'm currently downloading an episode of Ghost Whisperer season 2. It seems to be downloading with the green arrow besides the torrent name and the speed is going on. But the problem is the percentage of the file downloaded remained at 0.0%. Why?? My other torrent seems to be working fine but not this 1...

ok two weeks ago i turn on my computer then when i was about to log into my name. whiting pop up saying a acivate windows other wise i can not log on. so i click on ok then it said do you wont to reaster. what do that mean i can get on the internet but onley say yes to restering then click on there web site but that is all. i can not evan press start you know at the bottem with game and that. all i can see is my desk top

I would like to ask your opinion with regards to source codes. I
know some of you are involved in software development, or somehow must have an idea on how things are being done in SD. The questions are:

First, are source codes already part of the overall cost of the
systems? Or is it priced separately from the running system? E.g. I contracted a SD company to develop a system for me. Once finished, is the company obliged to also provide me with the copy of the source code other than the running system itself? Or does it have to be stipulated in the contract that it is such?

Second and more importantly, if source codes are priced separately, how much does it cost (in Ph Peso)? Just an estimate guys, say for a payroll system?

Please just give me feedbacks as soon as possible as there are concerns and issues regarding this subject in my workplace.

Let me elaborate:
I have been keeping statistics on Facebook memberships for certain groups and (political) candidate profiles. Each day I enter in the data for around 10 or so candidates but I was wondering if there happened to be a way that I could get Excel to automatically insert the figures from the pages each day so that I don't have to manually browse the webpages and insert the numbers myself?

Surely there has to be some sort of software or programming that could help me out with this. Thanks in advance (I will give a best answer).

I am writing a manuscript in Microsoft Word for the first time. I have finished my 1st page and want to go start on the 2nd page. I can't see where I can do that without filling the whole 1st page where it will automatically go to the 2nd page. Some of my pages will not be full of script.

I'm writing a book, the place that i'm publishing with would like it if i convert in into (PDF) here after i finshed the book the way is looks in works is the way it expose to look in books, but when i went online to convert it over to (PDF) and when i open it after the coverter was finished the page was all massed up, i get a page and a half of the next page on the same page, if i use (Word) is that deffrent or what.

we are trying to make a back up copy from the server and copy it on an external hard drive but in the middle of the back up process there is an error message coming up , the message is "cannot copy BEBKBGDA; Canot fnd the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name".

i bought a new laptop from bestbuy and it came with vista business and microsoft office. the problem is that i do not know if it is a trial or full version of office. i keep getting asked for a product code but bestbuy did not give me the cd or box for office. can i get a lil help?

ok so im tired of using vista. and windows xp i had to do recovery every month or so and had to install all my programs on to it everytime. my question is should i get rid of windows for good and ... or should i get linux. im not really a linux fan but i have never tried it in my life before so i dont know if it is good. i do have a macbook with mac os X on it which i love but my desktop is not being used much because i have windows on it and im tired of using it. should i get linux? what do you hink? and which distribution of linux should i get? thank you.

When i right click on my computer, it says the system:
Registered to: & Computer:

all i wanna know is that, i know that i am using windows Xp Pro
in this case, service pack 2! above that, it says Version 2002!
what does that mean? for example, this is what it says:



System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Thats what it says! i know that the OS i am using is windows xp service pack 2, but it also says "Version 2002" what does Microsoft mean by that? do they mean that from the year 2002 and beyond, xp is still around? it should say version 2001!
because windows Xp launched in 2001!!!
so i need your input guys!

okay i open the video file (avi ) then i get this massege (http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/2475/soolo4.jpg) i Dont understand it anyway I put the subtitle then SAVE AS AVI well evrything is cool but the audio come before the video in like 20 sec ( I mean the video and the audio dosnt match ) can you tell me whats wrong ??

Note: i downloaded K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and Xvid 1.1.2 final-installer
