How do I deleted desktop items?

I don't know how! Please answer. Hmmmm.... please!

I have tried to delete it but it won't! It is stuck there.

Right click on the item you want to remove and select delete when the options box comes up. Once you tell it to delete, a box comes up for "Confirm shortcut delete" and will tell you that if you want to remove the program to use add/delete program. There will be 2 options in that box, one is to "delete shortcut" and the other is "cancel". If you are sure you want to delete the shortcut from your desktop, select that one.

Right click on the desktop item and there will be a delete choice. You can also use the arrow keys to move to the item and hit the delete key.

you can delete the shortcut by right clicking on the item then delete it there but if you really want to make sure its gone i would first go to control panel/add/remove programs and you can completely delete them through there just dont delete something you need

Click the desktop icon you want to delete. press shift + delete at the same time. That bypasses recycle bin.

you could right click on the thing you want to delete then click on delete or just drag t to the trash/recycle bin.
if youve got a mac press the apple button and the delete/backspace key
