I am writing a manuscript in Microsoft Word for the first time. I have finished my 1st page and want to go start on the 2nd page. I can't see where I can do that without filling the whole 1st page where it will automatically go to the 2nd page. Some of my pages will not be full of script.

Good description of what you need, thanks.

1. From the location in your document where the content has ended for the page, and you want to start a new page, click Insert in the Menu Bar.
2. Click Break.
3. Click Page Break if it isn't already selected.
4. Click OK.

Done! New page.

Hope this is fast enough for what you need. I just happened to see it right after you posted.

Thank the Lord for babukgl.
He's the only one who had the straightforward solution.

DO NOT HIT ENTER TO GET TO THE NEXT PAGE. The next person to open your file may not see what you see due to different printer drivers.

:)
