i downloaded a program that i am unaware of what it is. ever since downloading that some things on my computer havent been working. diablo lod, word, and others. i don't want to spend any money on programs to get rid of it and i don't have a windows disc to format my harddrive. what should i do?

I have about sixty songs on my computer. Well, I bought a movie and found out that we didn't have enough space, so it wouldn't download. My stepdad got rid of some things to free up space.

Unfortunately, he also accidentally got rid of something important. Now we can't connect to the internet. Which means I can't get to my songs.

So, is there anyway to get those songs? Like, by burning a CD or something? Anything?! Because I'm very upset, I have nearly $60 worth on that computer that I can't get to.

I just moved into an appartment on campus. We get free internet. I got a paper that says dont use bitcomet limewire bearshare etc on campus because you will get caught and go to jail. how valid is this? all I want to do is watch the office (yes we get free cable, but I want instant gratification) I really dont want to risk it if they monitor what I'm doing or will shut off my power and charge me for it or something.

have done so in the past with no problem. Now I get this message about needing 4568 mb and only having 4549 in what appears to be a/the temp file. I have done disk clean up as well and clearing all files and cookies through internet options under the tools tab, and yet nothing has worked... What do I need to do?

I get errror msg. saying please insert an appendable data disc that is CD media or DVD write once media. What am I doing wrong? I want to be able to listen to the Cd, in my car not in the computer and unless I can finalize it it will not work. Can anyone help??? Please???

I use MS excel 2003 all the time for work, and usually the files are quite big, 50 -100 Mb. When I run calculation, it often causes my computer to freeze for about 1-2 hours. The computer I use has 2 gig ram.

Can anyone let me know if anything I can to do solve this problem? What about Excel 2007?

Well I'll try to explain everything that's wrong. First my yahoo messenger is acting weird. When I click on the mail icon, it won't load the page, it says inernet explorer cannot display the webpage. What's causing this and can I fix it? When I click on certain links in my favorites list, sometimes it'll load, sometimes it won't. What's causing this? Also I did a registry scan with CCleaner and I was wondering if maybe that deleted certain files that I needed or something. Thanks in advance for any help

I have an excel file that has a list of data (around 40,000 lines) and some tables running off it.

It gets bigger and bigger (currently 10mb), but if I compress it into a .zip it gets smaller again <2mb.

Why is excel so wasteful, and can I do the same thing in excel?

The speed of my computer has slowed down significantly, the only thing different that I've done is installed Microsoft Office 2007. Could this have negatively impacted processing speed? If so, what can be done to help? If not, what other problems may cause this and what are the solutions?

if my brother's account was the first one on this computer .. but he add'd me and gave my account full access .. can i delete his account, making mine primary .. then add a new one for him . will these delete or mess up original installation ? and do i have to pay to update the word processor program ? the one i have word perfect office 2002 (kinda wack) . also does anyone know what WingMan Software is for ??
