I have microsoft office installed on my pc, but can't find works. I have word, powerpoint, excel. Can I use one of these do make invoices or do I need something else?
If I am remembering right, works allows you to choose from documents, to brouchures, flyers, etc...

Word has never been much more than a simple typing program, and not very good at layouts.

You could use ppt to make single pages, but I am not sure about other things.

Quark or InDesign have always been much better (if you had a Mac there is also Pages, part of iWork)

You remembered correctly..

But if you have two different versions of Office (whether it be Works or whatever), you might have some complications along the line. Be careful about saving and what you choose to open documents with.

It does? Since when?.....j/k.

You can use Excel to create Invoices. You should have templates in your system or you can download them form Microsoft's web site or create your own.

Yes it does. I do not know why it isnt there but go to your start menu, then search, then mircrosoft works and then a folder or a shortcut to the program should appear.
