Software - January 2007

Im having trouble with my AVG antivirus it says there is a general failure when i try to uninstall it, which i need to do to put my Macafee on.

Im also trying to uninstall Ad-aware which conflicts with some of the Macafee software but its saying "could not open INSTALL.LOG file".

Any ideas what i can do to get them off my machine?

Is there any software i could use to get them unistalled or any alternative method of removing programs?

I have the setting for it but it won't open it at all and there is no programmer here to fix the situation so I was wondering if there is a program on Yahoo that does the same thing that MicroSoft Word does and where is it located?

i am looking for software like cproxy,onspeed for breaking the filter!
cproxy i a good program but most of time is shows me is too connection error.
onspeed is not free and also have no any good crack. i used to use JAP but it is filter also!

I have created a PowerPoint presentation with fonts that most computers do not have. Is there any way to save this document in a way that will allow others to see it the way I've created it? Maybe as a .pdf or .jpg file?

Sirs I have downloaded the 2.0.0.2 of Foxfire and when I try and use it I get the following pop up window on my desktop.

CLOSE FIREFOX

? Fire Fox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window , you must first close the existing Fire Fox process or restart your system.
I have restarted my computer a few times but I still get the same window. Please advise. Thanks , Gene Ware sew149@hotmail.com.

I'm trying to create a formula in excel using the following factors. I was hoping you could help. I'm trying to calculate the commissions based on the following tiered commissions:

Sales of $362,000

0-250,000 25%
250,001-500,000 27%
> 500,001 30%

The first $250,000 is calculated at 25%, the next $162,000 is calculated at 27%.

I have an MPG file I want to send to a friend but the file is to large for my e-mail system to send. Is there a way to edit the file so that I am sending part of the file (I only care about the first half). I do not want to compress it, just edit/reduce it.

located. I have pulled the icons down with the arrow. This covers up all icons. When I try to pull them back up, I am still getting too much blue space and the blue space looks like at least two rows (of blue space). The time, day and date look like they are on three rows (one on top of the other.) I need everything on one row. Have tried everything with the little black arrow. Any advice?

i am harsha from india.intiallt my problem is i tried to download a software named pcthrust from an undergrounsite and try to insert the key,but when i restarted my pc i got a notice that i did it intentionally to pirate that software.they warned me that they recorded my ip adress and they will investigate if i dont buy a license code.i also read that there is a fine about $2500000usd for software piracy or imprisionment.on reading this i am not getting even sleep.one more infomation ismy ip adress usually changes every time i restart. so how can they predict me.that software also costs abt $13 only.so plz help me by giving ur valuble opinion >plz!

I recently had to reinstall my copy of Windows due to a virus and therefore I do not have anything saved from the original installation.

I know there are many questions regarding lost CD keys with Microsoft products. The most common answer is to call Microsoft and explain your situation hoping they will give you a free CD key.

I purchased my copy of Office 2003 online, can anyone link me to where I can retrieve my receipt since it was delivered electronically? I'll have a much better case on the phone if I can provide a receipt.

I tried the jellybean program and it could not locate my office key without an error. This is probably because I had to reinstall Windows and nothing was left behind.

he said it needed formating and took the tower away and when he bought it back he said he had put a coppied version on, we told him we wernt happy and it would work ok, so we handed over the £70 for his much up and its rubbish. can i do anything about this??
