Im having trouble with my AVG antivirus it says there is a general failure when i try to uninstall it, which i need to do to put my Macafee on.

Im also trying to uninstall Ad-aware which conflicts with some of the Macafee software but its saying "could not open INSTALL.LOG file".

Any ideas what i can do to get them off my machine?

Is there any software i could use to get them unistalled or any alternative method of removing programs?

Thanks guys

in case you have issues uninstalling any software no longer purely nortons that's often because of the fact uninstall suggestions isn't best or corrupt to best this merely setting up the utility returned over the best of what's already put in then reboot then go in the process the uninstall technique returned. Norton information superhighway protection will take a jointly as to uninstall and could no longer look responding at situations attempt it returned and wait and notice go away it approximately 15 - 20 min if there is no progression after that factor do the above and reinstall the uninstall.

The problem here is somehow you have deleted the relevant files for uninstallasion wizard. So now there is no choice other than deleting whole the files in AVG folder. But i reccommend AVG for your PC than Mcafee.
Thank you.
