I have created a PowerPoint presentation with fonts that most computers do not have. Is there any way to save this document in a way that will allow others to see it the way I've created it? Maybe as a .pdf or .jpg file?

UPDATE! Thanks for all the answers! I saved the slides as jpegs separately and pasted them into a new presentation as one user suggested. Worked like a charm! The embedding option would have worked, except that I used "free fonts", so the font license wouldn't let me embed.

On the File menu, click Save As.
On the toolbar, click Tools,
click Save Options,
select the Embed TrueType Fonts check box, and then do one of the following:
To embed only those characters used in the presentation, select Embed characters in use only (best for reducing file size).
To embed all the characters in the font set, select Embed all characters (best for editing by others).

there's a hazard you are able to. attempt this: • have been given to "kit > thoughts" • A verbal substitute container with look with thoughts on the best pf the container. click on "shop" • there is an option called "Embed genuine type fonts" under "Font thoughts for curent rfile purely". as quickly as you click in this, you have 2 thoughts: Embed Characters in Use and Embed all Characters. the 1st is advantageous if the document is for presentation purely, jointly as the different grants the thoughts to alter the text fabric in the rfile employing the comparable font. The 2d option is sweet once you're coping with records this is presently as much as date (i.e.: annual statistical records), nevertheless the document length will enhance dramatically. in any different case, the 1st will do if there is no extra adjustments in the presentation.

pdf. files are the best for this but unless the computer is compatible with those fonts in any area then it will just choose default fonts or perhaps not show the text at all, be sure to use fairly simple fonts that are common in this case

PPS files are pictures not computer native fonts...so there should not be a problem as long as the other computer has a power point viewer - if not then they can download a viewer from Micorsoft for free.

with Macromedi Flash you can publish the movie or picture formats.
but first you must install a pwd to fla (or swf) convertor for converting your pwerpoint to a flash file then import this to flash and then publish (file > publish settings....) your format that you want
