located. I have pulled the icons down with the arrow. This covers up all icons. When I try to pull them back up, I am still getting too much blue space and the blue space looks like at least two rows (of blue space). The time, day and date look like they are on three rows (one on top of the other.) I need everything on one row. Have tried everything with the little black arrow. Any advice?

well, if you position your mouse on the edge of the taskbar and the desktop the mouse pointer changes to this little vertical up/down arrow, right?

When that happens, press and hold the left mouse button and move the mouse up/down. This should add more rows to the taskbar (when the mouse moves up) or remove rows from the taskbar.

you should be able to click and drag the task bar down to its normal size, providing that you don't have the task bar locked. just put the pointer on the edge of task bar and move it to where u want it
