i have never found a way to rotate an imported picture in Excell.

use any number of other image manipulation tools to rotate and save the image.
look here: http://www.versiontracker.com/windows/graphics/image-edit
for a large list of possible programs you could use.

if you need a program w/lots of image processing abilities (including rotate) try: www.gimp.org
if you don't need all that, here is another handly program w/a decent feature set: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/25555

Try this.Right click on the inserted picture click format picture.
There is a 'Size' tab.You can find the 'Rotate' option there..Hope this helps.

if you host it on a photohosting site first, it should let you flip the picture then i just cut and paste the flipped picture
