Hi folks, I have 13 word docs, each with a huge "table" on. I'm trying to create a single 13 page document. I'm having all sorts of problems - they're going all over the place when I copy paste because the different pages have different layouts. Hayulp!

okay I am done dling this one thing and the steps said that to dl all the parts and save it on a folder then extract it?

but how to extract it,? I have never extract something before and I am a noob so plz add as much detail as you can =)

I'm bad about backups although I've been burned before. Do you backup the whole drive? What the best way to do incremental backups? Do you use the archive bit? If not, why? Which software do you use? Can any CD burning software project automatically know if files in the source directory are new and include that in the next burn? Any software that can let you use a thumb drive until you have enough data to warrant a CD and then repeat? Are there any programs that can track changes across the whole hard drive from bootup to shutdown and then prompt you asking which new files are important and should be included in the next backup?

I Can't Instal Windows..!!!?
I Have PC, and i faced problem that the syetem damaged My System on my Computer seems damaged, when i restart the PC i find it stop and a massage appears saying:
"NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"
, so i opened the case and tried to plug the cable of Hard Disk again, i could Delete Partitions, i couldn't partition again the HD, i could format after that, but another problem happened, installation started but without proceed, an error eccurred ((FATAL ERROR)), and the message is:

" An error has been encountered that prevents setup from continuing.
One of the componenets that windows needs to continue setup could not be instal.
Incorrect Function

What can i do ?? what is the problem ?? Can you help me ?

Usually when i click my computer, it displays the drives and folder grouped with the side options blue panel (which has the shortcut to netwrk neighborhod control panel ect.), now the side options disappeared and my computer icons are not groupd as drives/document and settings.

Every time I turn on PC I get error message to tell me windows defender has not been able to initialize 0x800106ba. Restart or see how to turn on manually. Tried both, and run spy search and virus scan, and system restore, but still get message. Can you help/

My brother installed D++ on my new laptop, he said it was the safest, but it doesn't work and I'm ready to give up on it. Is there anything else anyone can recommend? I have a brand new laptop and really, really don't want any viruses. My last PC was ruined by using Kazaa.

I have Norton antivirus, would this be adequate protection to use alongside a file sharing service?

I would like to retire my desktop and just use my laptop. I have a usb drive I can use to move stuff but My attempts never seem to work even if I read the help in outlook ( not outlook express.)

I have McAfee, but my PC infected with Trojans,, i checked my system using StopSigh free Threat scanner. Here is the result:

- Trojan.PWS.Tanspy Application Spyware Program Infected

- DoubleClick Cookie Spyware Cookie Infected

I want to make a photo wallpaper for my desktop using my own photos. I tried this once before but it did not fit right and it was just Wrong! lol. I can't recall what I used to make it with but I need a better one this time. Whats a good free program or trick or whatever I can use to make it so that it fits well on my desktop and the pictures look great.

WIN VER 5.1 SERVICE PACK 2, I deleted a software package that was corrupt. I was unable to uninstall the software because it did not have an uninstall package and it was not displayed in the "Add Remove Programs" section. I deleted the directory and any shortcuts I found and cleaned up the Start menu area.
.
That seemed to go off without any hitch. When I start my computer the windows installer kicks on and attempts to install a part of the package database/program over and over again.

Is there any way I can change a setting somewhere to halt this installation but not disabling the windows installer?

I'm tired for re-formating my hdd, re-install my winXp + all other installed software every +/- 6 moth.., this is because my winXP performance always down-n-down (sometimes have stop responding application for a long time) for that interval,

my regular installed software is only Ms.Office (full packages), an archieve for RAR and ZIP files, and a PDF Reader. I have no installed games software. My PC spec is: P4-3,2Ghz, RAM 1Gb, VGA128mb, HDD80Gb(two partition-40/40), DVD rom, Modem, and sound available of course.

I'm already try to:
- defrag, scandisk..(my hdd are still in healthy condition..)
- setting my virtual page files (win swap files) for a fix value (windows recommend me to 3gb-min and max).,
- change my a hdd,
- not installing any games..<--this one make me very sick!!
- clean up all trash files,
- pray to the god..hmmmppff..(maybe god have a hidden purpose for his matter..) For other information, my pc have internet connection (cookies&history always cleaned)

The files are supposed to open in microsoft word as they are all either word files or rich text files. Now when I try to open them all I see is a bunch of boxes like this [][][][][][][][] I installed the converter, but it still doesn't work. All the files are still the same size as they were before, so nothing is lost-I just can't see anythink....Please help, I need the documents for school!!!
