installing windows xp on a hard drive that has never had anything on it, when its done doing the diagnostics and installs temp files for installing the xp process, instead of continuing with installation the computer says"15 seconds til reboot" normally it would continue installation at this time. it does not it starts the process all over.. what am i doing wrong?

We bought my mom a webcam for Christmas and when she went to use the wizard to set up the camera the software gave her the following error message:
Bad hh exe
DllC:\WINDOWS\WINMM.dll is not a valid Windows image please check against installation disk.

She googled the error but did not find anything that gave her a way to fix it. I'm also going to be trying the Windows website to see it they have a fix but I wanted to try here as well. Thanks.

I use VLC media player to watch DVD's as nothing else worked (media player, divx, quicktime real player, none of them worked due to codecs?!!) but VLC just starts playing the film, i don't get the menu screen so can't access any of the special features, any ideas what program i could use to watch DVD's that starts the menu too but also has the codecs like VLC?!!!

I know, it is lame, I am not allowed to chat in the office, that's the policy...is there any program out there that let me chat without being noticed? e.g. Like it will open up a MS Word "lookalike" window, and I can chat in there using text only?

I've tried many free spyware remover that does find and remove stuff but doesn't remove the important spyware. I've tried www.download.com's most popular download for removal but I have to purchase it.

Is there any other program that I don't have to pay to? I've tried Spybot Search and Destroy and it only removed unimportant stuff that I don't care about.

The main problem I REALLY wanna get rid of is rundll32.exe, even though I'm told it's supposed to be on my PC- but I realize it's not letting me open my game up.

Please help me, even cracks could help..or maybe not @_@

It play maybe half a second of any given file then skips ahead to the last frame and is usually choppy. I even cleaned my hard drive because I had a virus but it was still there when I wiped it. What's going on? How do I fix it?

This formula is needed for a trucking business. The company is going to pay the drivers for the time they are held up before unloading. I have to put the time in, time out, unload time, wait time and then figure out how much money is owed. I have a formula for figuring out the amount of wait time, but when I try to get that time to multiply by the amount, it always says $0.01. I would appreciate any help.
