This formula is needed for a trucking business. The company is going to pay the drivers for the time they are held up before unloading. I have to put the time in, time out, unload time, wait time and then figure out how much money is owed. I have a formula for figuring out the amount of wait time, but when I try to get that time to multiply by the amount, it always says $0.01. I would appreciate any help.

If you know a little bit of programming, you can write up a software very easily using visual studio and add up overall or whatnot!

You basically, have to do is: time in minutes x pay per hour/ 60

convert all minutes to seconds... example:
time arrived = 7am
time departed = 7:30 am
unload time = 20 minutes
wait time = time departed minus time arrived minus unload time (10 minutes)

wait time in seconds = 60 x 10 (600)
paid for wait time = (rate x 600) /10
